What a week! The SUNRISE stand at the Big Challenge Science Festival has been so much fun!
Between Sunday 16 and Wednesday 19 of June, researchers from our NTNU partner have been running a very interactive stand. Our curious and intrepid visitors could learn about artificial photosynthesis and the SUNRISE project through our just released official video. They also had the chance to try an interactive and fun app to understand how this natural process works and how we can mimic it through artificial systems.
Moreover, live experiments showed how a toy car can run with hydrogen generated from solar panels electricity. Even more, on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19, researchers from our UWarsaw partner showed how we can harvest solar light with solar cells made of algae pigments. Impressive experiments, indeed!
Thanks to the organisers for allowing our project to be present in such an interesting festival that joined together artists, scientists and specialists of different disciplines.
