The European Algae Biomass Association (EABA), official supporter of the SUNRISE initiative, organized this workshop on 29 of September and 1 October in Brussels.

Dr. Yagut Allahverdiyeva-Rinne from University of Turku represented the SUNRISE project in this workshop designed in a compact format, with a Panel-based structure. Each Panel had a specific topic and a duration of 1 hour, with 20 minutes for the presentation of the topic and 40 minutes for discussion and conclusions. Each Panel had an invited chair, and the participants in the panel were volunteers from the participant group. Key conclusions from each Panel were presented by a rapporteur.
