6th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue Energiewende – cancelled
This event has been cancelled due to special measures to mitigate the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.
There is wide international support for the idea of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. To this end, the world needs a Global Green Deal with the transformation of the energy systems at its heart. The tools are in our hands! Collaboration between politics, industry, science and civil society in a new multilateral framework is a precondition for a global green transition. Policymakers need to provide the right framework to combine national realities with global goals.
In 2019, over 2,000 participants from more than 90 countries, including 50 ministers and state secretaries and 100 high-level speakers, gathered in the German capital to be part of the discussion. This year, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has agreed to deliver a keynote.
Engage with high-level policymakers, energy experts and leaders from industry, science and civil society from around the world! Learn about new investment opportunities and breakthroughs and experience the energy transition first hand at the Berlin Energy Week from 23-27 March 2020 with its official side events, guided tours, receptions, business-to-government formats and workshops!
