IUPAC 2019 PARIS
50th General Assembly & 47th IUPAC World Chemistry Congress
IUPAC-2019 Congress and the joint 50th General Assembly to celebrate the Centenary of the Union, including a dedicated symposia to consider the educational, historical, gender, and other aspects to think about Chemistry and Society.
Our partner Dr. Vincent Artero from CEA Grenoble, has been one of the organisers of the Symposium 2.3: Turning Solar Energy to Fuels via Artificial Photosynthesis, together with Shane Ardo from UCAL and Peter STRASSER from TU Berlin. Attendees could collect one of our SUNRISE leaflets and see the latest advances of relevant researchers in the area.
This great IUPAC event included about 30 symposia, with around 900 oral presentations, 260 invited lectures and 640 oral contributions open to regular attendees. Multiple sessions held around 1000 posters. Everything in the fantastic city of Paris!!
The SUNRISE community was very well represented by our partners from CEA and CNR and lots of supporters and friends giving excellent talks. See the Scientific Programme and the Detailed Agenda for more information.
